What is Barre?

Barre is a full-body, low impact workout that incorporates ballet-inspired moves. The class focuses on small and controlled movements with light weight or resistance, isometric holds and high repetition, designed to burn 500-700 calories per class, while sculpting the body at the same time.

Barre helps to improve your overall posture, change your body composition, strengthen and tone your muscles without increasing bulk, and reduce stress. You can have all these benefits without actually having to attempt a plié. No dance background is necessary!

Barre technique is great for all ages and fitness levels. Each workout can be modified, so it is a safe option if you are recovering from injury, expecting or had a baby.
